The JBS brand was launched in 2003 with a range of stylish swimwear that soon featured in all the leading fashion glossies. The JBS brand also encompasses JBS Junior - a range designed specifically for kids and pre-teens.

The brand expanded further in 2006 with the opening of our flagship boutique at Cape Town's Wembley Square. JBS is also available at selected retail outlets throughout South Africa.

The JBS brand is the largest independent fashion swimwear house in South Africa and takes its name from its founder and managing director, Julia van Biljon. Since launching in 2003, JBS has become a sought-after fashion label both in South Africa and abroad, with several outlets in exclusive department stores and holiday resorts throughout the USA.

JBS is designed and produced by Cygnet Manufacturing Company in Cape Town who has been manufacturing swimwear in South Africa for over 30 years and produces swimsuits for many of the U.K's high street stores. Cygnet Manufacturing Company is part of the Seardel Group, a listed company on the JSE.
